The idea of lantern comes from hanging lamps of Little Malop Street and Federation Square. These designs are outdoor, thought it would be cool if I bring it inside. Also users can have a closer look to them on first and second floor.
I intentionally keep the design simple and clean. Three rectangles interlock together and use the slot methods. Glue is not required and relatively easy for mass production.The model turned out quite good, except need a denser structure and a thin layer of paper to cover up the light. Also the electronic doesn't work - it was way too dangerous.
